Topher Chambers

My Favourite Quote

“Hell is an idea first born on an undigested apple dumpling.” ~ Moby Dick

“Topher” Chambers brings an intriguingly diverse perspective to his work as a writer and director. His life journey, which has taken him across the breadth of the country, eventually led him back to his hometown of Alexandria, Indiana, where he currently resides with his wife and teenage son.

Chambers’ unique worldview is shaped by his background as an archaeological field technician for several CRM and environmental firms throughout the Midwest. His training in anthropology, coupled with a degree in psychology, empowers him to perceive the world in a way that diverges from the typical. This unique lens informs his exploration of human nature and our inherent complexities, making his storytelling both rich and deeply resonant.

When he’s not crafting his own chilling tales, Chambers is bringing his vision to life through his own short films and series. His artistic versatility serves as a testament to his enduring passion for narrative expression. But whether he is behind the camera or weaving the next Lovecraftian horror, Chambers is driven by the same aim: to illuminate the hidden corners of the human psyche and invite his audience to step into the unknown.
